There is literally always something to do in Northern California during the summer time. The sun is shinin’, the tops are down, the grills are out, the beers are cold and everyone’s attitude is at 100. One of our favorite spots here in the North is Lake Pillsbury, it’s a super chill spot to grab your friends, have fun and make new friends in the process. This lake has a little somethin’ for everyone. If you are looking to stay for a weekend Lake Pillsbury offers several different cabins with outdoor grills (yes it’s grilling season!). These bad boys are available from mid June through mid August so book a spot now!
Looking for a little more camping action? Lake Pillsbury has 38 campsites that are nice and spread out and most importantly, many of them are on the lake front for easy access and others have beautiful views of the lake. There are some that offer more privacy away from the lake but they all have clear access to the lake, which is the most important thing, duh.
The flood gates were open almost all winter and through March the water levels were nice and high, meaning all of the amazing water sport shenanigans we love to do will be in full effect this summer! You know what I’m talking about, wakeboarding, wake surfboards, single rider towable, multiple rider towable and inflatables. However, we all know none of this is complete without… the floating ice chest. That’s right, it’s back. These little buckets of genius are perfect to store all of your cold refreshments, allowing you to transfer them easily from the campsite to the lake. It is an absolute must for anyone who takes the lake life seriously. Check out Lake Pillsbury anytime this summer and I promise you won’t be disappointed, just be sure to invite us!
As always my friends, Santa Rosa Ski and Sports is here for you whenever you need anything that involves a board or anything absolutely fun! Come on into our shop and say hello, we’ll be happy to walk you through any questions you have.
